Online Auction Open! Let the Bidding Begin!

The ART 4 GOOD Auction honoring Muhammad Ali Parkinson's Foundation is now open. The auction will run from June 24, 2016 to July 4, 2016. So, tell your friends, family, community. Let the bidding begin!

Teaming up with CrowdRISE, ART 4 Good Foundation has created this auction to rally up support for The Muhammad Ali Parkinson's Foundation.

Are YOU in?

Here's the story:  When we all mourned the death of a legend; someone who inspired us throughout our lives, ART4GOOD was one of the first donors to support CrowdRise's fundraising for The Muhammad Ali Center.

We wanted to do MUCH MORE!

This auction offers everyone whose life was touched by THE CHAMP to give back to help others who are currently suffering as he did, to find a cure!

On an even more personal note, I was honored to have met Muhammad Ali, and as the Founding Chairperson of ART4GOOD, I made it my own personal mission to enhance this auction event with more offerings than ever before.

I will always cherish the time I spent with him.

Thank YOU for participating and making a difference!

Sincerely yours,

Wendie Busig-Kohn

CEO/Founding Chairperson: ART4GOOD Foundation, Inc.

"Art Speaks": “Inspiring change, with every brush stroke”, it is the mission of the Art4Good Foundation to enlighten the public to the real value of art and creativity.  Art is subjective, yet it requires no translator.  Art speaks in every language, and can be utilized as a strategic "tool" to engage interest and commonality via education, availability, and exchange of ideas worldwide.  Art provides good will, emanating from the United States, throughout the entire world; not unlike the popularity of our best exports of music, films and automobiles, we intend, in the near future, to focus and enhance our mission to "export culture", sharing the works of international artists, beyond our borders.

“Art heals.”:  Founding Chairperson, Wendie Busig-Kohn suffers from Systemic Lupus, a crippling disease that was diagnosed in 1992, when doctors told her to “get her affairs in order”.  After several strokes and seizures, she chose to eliminate most, if not all of her prescriptions and discovered that when creating, the left brain shifting to the right, her pain would disappear, if only for a little while, when painting.  As a result, she became an advocate for “Art and Healing” and published a book of the same title.

ART4GOOD Foundation, Inc. provides a multitude of social media outlets for burgeoning artists to showcase their works, at NO cost. ART4GOOD also sponsors “The Artist In You” blog, where artists can engage others in the inspiration behind  their works, and enjoy reading additional creative posts, including, but not limited to poetry and music.

To date, we have also published seven ART and ART/Poetry books, to enhance the stature of burgeoning artists as "published artists".  Costs for publication have been paid entirely by ART4GOOD Foundation, Inc., and proceeds from sales are donated to support ARTS in SCHOOLS programs.  Previously, we sponsored several underpriviledged children to attend Summer Art Conservatory classes in Palm Springs.

ART4GOOD has also created videos to showcase new artists' works, showcased on The Artist In You TV Channel on You Tube.   Art4Good created The Artist In You TV channel on You Tube, which offers thousands of videos for the public to find including educational, creative, and inspirational videos along with full length movies and music videos too.

In summary, it is the mission of the ART4GOOD Foundation, Inc. to communicate, inspire, and support the ever changing world of art, via education by visualization and participation.

      ONE LOVE BY WBK 40X30

      Wendie Busig-Kohn

Wendie Busig-KohnAt twenty, perhaps the youngest publisher in the United States, she launched her first magazine. Before Baltimore Magazine, CONTEMPO MAGAZINE was a hip, artsy magazine that got the exclusive story! Coverage of visiting icons of music, theatre, and fashion included The Rolling Stones, Alice Cooper, Rich Little, Carol Channing, Mitzi Gaynor, Three Dog Night, Gloria Steinem, Alexander Cohen, and so many more. A major department store showcased the premiere edition, proudly, in their storefront windows as a fashionable must have "accessory"!

Several years later, she launched the original Malibu Magazine and was featured in articles in Advertising Age and Folio magazines. It was 1984 and Opening Night brought out the stars including Jan Michael Vincent, Gary Busey, Larry Hagman, Cheech Marin, Billy Burton, Don Simpson, Marlon Brando, and the paparazzi L.A.! Timothy Leary did not attend that night, but later remarked, "But, of course I still have Malibu, can always tell how truly hip a person is, when you walk into their home and see Malibu on their coffee table". He said that 2 years later. One woman wrote from Holland that a friend had sent her a copy, "it certainly brightened an otherwise dreary day in Amsterdam, and filled my heart with happy days of Malibu sunshine memories" and insisted on subscribing from "across the pond".
