Coming Full Circle...

Cari Feltz-Abdo...with empathy and inspiration!

I am thankful for all those brought into my life through Facebook. So many of you I would never have had the opportunity to meet...and still may never meet in person. Somehow life, God in my opinion, keeps drawing people into my closest circle who share much of what makes me 'me'; people who express empathy rather than pity; people who accept the thoughts I share without questioning because they understand.

Now the powers that be have guided me to The Artist In You!Click here to visit The Artist In You! page on Facebook and learn more about this amazing community! where I have met even more kindred spirits. Although I do think of myself as an artist, there are so many there on such an amazing level, I wasn't sure I would even get to have a conversation with them let alone build such strong friendships and bonds with them. Of course, I soon found out they are no different to me...people with hopes, dreams, lives, challenges - all unique and individual yet all with one thing in common - a burning desire to help and do good in a creative way.

I know many people who do not think of themselves as artists but in fact they are...they just don't know it. Some of them journal...some doodle...some make crafts...some make music...some write poetry and some even paint beautiful watercolors that they keep to themselves. I think everyone has something inside that they want to express creatively.

I have spent a lot of time playing games on Facebook in the past. Why? Because I really love helping other people and by joining gaming communities, I found the opportunity to do that as well as making new friends along the way. I am on Facebook because it gives me the chance to interract with other people. They are not just words on a screen...there are hearts and minds behind those words.

Facebook has also offered me the opportunity to get more exposure for my artwork, more so now that I am involved with The Artist in You! so, when I share a link, I encourage you to check it out if you have time. If I DO share something it's because it has touched me in some way...whether it be people's visual works or words.

I also encourage everyone to see what The Artist In You! has to offer because, even if you believe you are not an artist, I promise you will be blessed just seeing the talent and work shared there and you will have the opportunity to meet some really awesome people that just may touch your life as much as they have touched mine.
