Fallen Angel
In tears she lays
This straying angel
Drained of fervor
Unable to fly
Faded and cold
Like the fallen leaf
That floats on a
Puddle of water
In a bizarre
February thaw

Fab Fashion
Free flowing form
Simply sensuous
Cuddlesome, warm
Globally noted
Locally "quoted"
Armed with intellect
Wit and drive
Vulnerable as a child
To a thoughtless jibe.
An Erte work in flesh and bone
Mischievous spirit
Giggle prone
Mending International Conflict
Via telephone.
Beloved by Royals, Merchants, and Knaves
Always on guard not to waste a day
Don't squander a moment
Don't let pass a chance
To care for another
For yourself, dance the dance!
Ask questions, find answers
Seek out the truth
Take flight in the music
In loving, be soothed.
The human world powers
Shift like the tides
You're the one who knows
Having taken the ride.
The powers eternal
The light of all true
Shines brightly in you.
So, it is with those
Who seek to learn
Which questions to ask
Which corner to turn.
The good nature of fate
As it crosses your path
With light, real to be shared
By those who dream
By those who dared
Forever embrace and celebrate
The lessons you've learned
And let love and time vindicate.

Autumn and the Moon
The wind screamed
In circles
The sky wept
Trees shed sheathes
Of leaves that
Flew and joined
The debris
Of life in
A dance of
The macabre
As the moon
Choked on the
Dust and died

The Gods Are Crying
Our cities have become jungles
And the jungles are now towns
We cut and cut and cut away
Soon no trees for shade or land
No food to go around
How shall we sustain ourselves
Savages abound, and their
Name is greed and hypocrisy,
Stop the madness now
Clean up the city jungles
Let villagers return to peace
It’s their prerogative to pray
To gods we cannot see
And our city gods are crying
As we destroy the pristine world
Given to us as a gift to live on and enjoy
A giant fragrant playground
Not a wasteland to destroy

Journey
Hidden from sight
Clothed in shadows
Shrouded in mists
The essence of self
Strives not to be seen
Nothing to see
Raw emotion
Born of pain,
Of fever, of madness
Only to be felt
Relentlessly pursued
By all consuming fire
Unrelenting desire
Circulating
Escalating
Completely possessed
Drawn to destruction
Reincarnating demons
Long vanquished
Or so believed
From the ashes
Strengthened not destroyed
Tempered, forged, freed
The spirit emerges
Triumphant in light
