Hidden from sight
Clothed in shadows
Shrouded in mists
The essence of self
Strives not to be seen
Nothing to see
Raw emotion
Born of pain,
Of fever, of madness
Only to be felt
Relentlessly pursued
By all consuming fire
Unrelenting desire
Circulating
Escalating
Completely possessed
Drawn to destruction
Reincarnating demons
Long vanquished
Or so believed
From the ashes
Strengthened not destroyed
Tempered, forged, freed
The spirit emerges
Triumphant in light
