Old Chevy was painting from a reference photo taken by Ciera Lace Wolitski. I loved the old chevy from the moment she shared it with me. This young lady who took the photos of my daughters wedding, is very talented indeed. Ciera Lace Photography can be found on Face book. There is just something about old vehicles. I love them, whether they are restored or just sitting out in a field, rusting. They seem to have a character of their own. I felt the warm glow of this old chevy truck. I relived it's better days. I imagined it's restoration, just waiting to be reclaimed by a caring soul who would bring it back to life and share it's pride. I thought about it's creator and the day it was born. What a day that must have been...all shiny and new, ready to be admired by the curious crowds whispering about it's magnificence. I am overwhelmed with warm feelings every time I view it and am so happy to share it with you so that it can be reborn again and again in the minds of those who love it too.
