 CARLOS THE SNOW LEOPARD

First, I would like to THANK EVERYONE who has made time to vote for me here!  Because of your friendship and support, you have made me the #1 Artist in the Featured Artist category on that site, and I hope I can inspire more folks to take a looksee and turn those little white hearts below each picture into RED ones.  Keep voting!  HUGS!!

So, I had to think of a special way to give something from me, back to YOU!

Why?

Every week, as you know we host the most awesome on-line charity auctions on Bidding For Good, and we want to get the word out to all of YOUR friends too!

Some might think, because the auction is listed as ART4GOOD that all we are offering is ART!

There are so many other great items there too including Jewelry, Collectibles, Unique Experiences, Travel Opportunities, Designer and Couture Accessories and MORE are being added all of the time!

 Have you been HERE yet?

So, instead of spending money promoting our current auction via Opt-in random emails services, etc., we thought...Why NOT engage those who already know and love ART4GOOD Auctions, along with new friends and bidders that we hope to inspire too?!

HERE is "THE CATCH"!

We would like you to take a few moments and REFER YOUR FRIENDS!  On our auction home page, see below the menu, "REFER FRIENDS".  Click on it and it will prompt you to submit email addresses.  (Don't worry, we cannot see or use those referrals, but WE CAN SEE HOW MANY that YOU INVITED and which emails went through)

For every 4 friends YOU "refer", you can choose a FREEBIE and we will only charge your CC for shipping and handling!

BONUS!!!!!

You can actually choose up to 4 works in this gallery, as long as your have referred 16 friends or more and they are FREE with ONLY ONE SHIPPING/HANDLING cost!  Imagine! 4 works for only $29.95!!!

Let's rock!

FINE ART AMERICA ROCKS! Have YOU been there yet?

Fine Art America.com truly rocks!  Have YOU been there yet?

HER LITTLE COLTAs a burgeoning artist, I began to create with a mission to give back!  As Founding Chairperson of ART4GOOD Foundation, I also wanted to "take a walk in the artists' shoes", and so I am constantly looking for opportuntities to expand our mission to "Inspire Change With Every Brush Stroke!"

Recently, I discovered, that unlike most of the multiple artist web-sites out there, Fine Art America is not only efficient and affordable, but there are so many more opportunities for both the artists and the art collectors!

Unique Surfaces too!  Whether you are shopping for a small framed print, or you are the more adventurous, cutting edge art collector, Fine Art America showcases the artists' works on Canvas, Metal, and Acrylic.

For those who still like to communicate with cards, what could be better than to send a card to a friend showcasing a newly discovered artist's work?

So, I signed on.

Until now, my works have been, exclusively, showcased on

ART4GOOD Auctions!

Now, you can collect them

HERE

too!

and...

Coming Soon!

We are also launching a gallery site for ART4GOOD Foundation on Fine Art America!  We will showcase our FAVORITES; works of art by all of our Artists Giving Back!

Stay tuned!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! "Make A Wish!"

VALENTINE 21 REDUXHAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

It's time to "Make A Wish!"

Every Valentine's Day is my birthday, and each year I "make a wish"!

I make a wish and a pledge to support the Make a Wish Foundation, and this year, other artists are giving back with me too!

Are YOU in?

We have created a spectacular on-line auction event for you to explore!

Why?

Since 1980, the Make a Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make A Wish experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors, and entire communities. Although it has become one of the world's most well-known charities, the Make A Wish Foundation has maintained the grassroots fulfillment of its mission.

The Make a Wish Foundation has received support from many notable celebrities including Teri Hatcher,Warren Buffet and Darren Hayes.

Join with me and many others to help these children make their wishes come true!

We have added some spectacular new art works including ooodles of the ever popular NOSTALGIC ART works, and I created some Valentines that will outlast a  card or a bouquet of flowers for years to come.

Imagine:  Every time you enjoy a work of art, you can remember that YOU helped a dying child's wish come true.  It just doesn't get any more loving than that, does it?

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY,

Wendie Busig-kohn

GIVING BACK too!

ARTISTS GIVE BACK:  "Helping Burgeoning Artists Help themselves and others":The concept of Philanthropic Marketing was the premise of Ms. Busig-Kohn’s participation and presentation back in 1995, when invited to The State Of The World Forum, by then President Mikhail Gorbachev.  Advocating that all primary brands “identify” with charities was, in fact,  her idea.

Since that time, thousands of celebrities have also added their support to this concept, and thousands of fundraising projects were enhanced by their participation.

In contrast, and substantiated by the NEA, statistics prove that the majority of visual artists in America today, live well below the poverty line.  However, our statistics prove that when artists establish their own “philanthropic brand”, it enhances their sales and underscores success in their field.

We have donated funds to the following charities:

Shakira’s Barefoot Foundation

Thorn/DNA Foundation

DreamCatchers Wild Horse and Burro Sanctuary

"Art Speaks": “Inspiring change, with every brush stroke”, it is the mission of the Art4Good Foundation to enlighten the public to the real value of art and creativity.  Art is subjective, yet it requires no translator.  Art speaks in every language, and can be utilized as a strategic "tool" to engage interest and commonality via education, availability, and exchange of ideas worldwide.  Art provides good will, emanating from the United States, throughout the entire world; not unlike the popularity of our best exports of music, films and automobiles, we intend, in the near future, to focus and enhance our mission to "export culture", sharing the works of international artists, beyond our borders.

“Art heals.”:  Founding Chairperson, Wendie Busig-Kohn suffers from Systemic Lupus, a crippling disease that was diagnosed in 1992, when doctors told her to “get her affairs in order”.  After several strokes and seizures, she chose to eliminate most, if not all of her prescriptions and discovered that when creating, the left brain shifting to the right, her pain would disappear, if only for a little while, when painting.  As a result, she became an advocate for “Art and Healing” and published a book of the same title.

ART4GOOD Foundation, Inc. provides a multitude of social media outlets for burgeoning artists to showcase their works, at NO cost. ART4GOOD also sponsors “The Artist In You” blog, where artists can engage others in the inspiration behind  their works, and enjoy reading additional creative posts, including, but not limited to poetry and music.

To date, we have also published seven ART and ART/Poetry books, to enhance the stature of burgeoning artists as "published artists".  Costs for publication have been paid entirely by ART4GOOD Foundation, Inc., and proceeds from sales are donated to support ARTS in SCHOOLS programs.  Previously, we sponsored several underpriviledged children to attend Summer Art Conservatory classes in Palm Springs.

ART4GOOD has also created videos to showcase new artists' works, showcased on The Artist In You TV Channel on You Tube.   Art4Good created The Artist In You TV channel on You Tube, which offers thousands of videos for the public to find including educational, creative, and inspirational videos along with full length movies and music videos too.

In summary, it is the mission of the ART4GOOD Foundation, Inc. to communicate, inspire, and support the ever changing world of art,

via education by visualization and participation.

Celebrating Creativity & Giving Back!

The Artist In You believes that, through art and creativity, we can make a difference in this amazing world. The Galleries featured below are just a small sample of the vast array of works helping to achieve this goal. Why not come along and see for yourself - and bring your friends, too!
